I’m a Minneapolis-based freelance journalist fluent in SEO, CMS, and ecommerce. But above all, I’m a writer with a passion for storytelling.

Previously, I was a Senior Shopping Writer for People magazine who strategized, pitched, and wrote compelling content that drove revenue and traffic daily. My coverage spanned lifestyle, home, beauty, and entertainment verticals, but I specialized in fashion and interviews.

I’ve also written for brands like InStyle, Travel + Leisure, Shape, Health, Real Simple, and Better Homes and Gardens as a member of Dotdash Meredith’s centralized ecommerce team.

I spent the first two years of my career post-college at HelloGiggles, where I touched everything from entertainment news to beauty awards to sex and dating. How-to explainers, personal essays, and celebrity profiles were my jam. Prior to my first full-time job, I was an editorial intern turned remote contributing writer at BHG.com.
